Hmm … GIKI. A wonderful place where I spent more than four years and it was an enchanting experience.
First semester… fun, fun and more fun and almost everyone was christened with a nickname. I had the dubious honor of receiving the first nickname of our batch. I made many new friends. A fight with Ather Puppoo which I’ll never forget… just a little misunderstanding… but now he’s one of my best friends.
2nd semester… tension, tension and excessive tension due to my careless attitude. I moved to hotel 4 the first chance I got. Several of my friends GIKI and I missed them a lot.
3rd and 4th semesters… love was the highlight of the third semester and this is enough for me to remember. Winning the first ever GIKI cricket tournament (hard ball). I was the runner up for the first Open Badminton Tournament and that was the first time I ever lost a tournament. For the first time in my life I felt like a loser. I was extremely depressed with myself due to my significant losses in almost every area of my life. Once again a runner up in the first mixed doubles badminton tournament. I will never forget the first football tournament in which we lost the final.
8th Semester… the last semester for most of my batch mates but unfortunately not for me… I will miss all of them in my next semester. Starcraft was the life of this semester.
