Deciding to join GIKI was one of the toughest decision of my life. Coming so far to a place completely isolated from the rest of the world haunted me. But it took me barely a month before I began to enjoy the lifestyle of this place. Hostel life was new to me – it made me independent and strong in my decisions. At times, I did get bored from this place but I think it was mainly due to academic pressure, and when it subsided everything was fine. I will never forget how we did our assignments here… six, seven people in one room… copying life mad 🙂
The faculty was also interesting, especially Mr Bhatti. I am sure no one will ever forget him. The best part in class was when Zohair brought a radio and we listened to songs.
Good friends are hard to come by but this provided me an opportunity to make some everlasting friends. I will miss them all. GIKI provided me with a chance to grow and excel in all dimensions. The four years spent here hold too much to be written in a few lines. In short, I will never forget the place, the people and the time spent here.
