My four years at GIKI have taught me a lot about life. I have learnt to see the brighter side of things. GIKI has taught me how to make the best of any situation, how to think and how to learn. I have gained an immense amount of confidence. Life here was a mix of fun and tension. I will never forget the long sleepless nights working on my desk but I also cannot forget the fun I had playing games and watching cricket matches on TV with my friends. My friends are the biggest asset that I am taking with me from here. In one sentence, life at GIKI was very intense and eventful and I wish that this institution may prosper and flourish more in the future.
Best memories:
1) the night we won the IIU quiz competition for GIKI.
2) When I got 4.00 GPA in the 7th semester.
3) The night we watched the meteor shower on the hostel roof.
4) “County” cricket.
5) “Lootiapas”
Worst memories:
1) The third semester when my father was in the hospital in the US under going heart surgery and I was here alone during the mid-break.
2) Sad demise of Waqar Basheer

He is probably the second most misunderstood person in the batch. To many, he is quiet, shy and “shareef”. Actually he has a sense of humor and brains to be compared to Einstein and Jerry Lewis (oops did I get it in the other way).
A 2GB BT line passes right through his bottoms.
Hmmm, a true theta, picks the things very quickly and always has a solution for a problem.
Quiet and hard working
Intelligent and hardworking person with a nag for fooling people. I still can’t forget remotely administering people’s PCs specially the time we placed that JPG on Paindoo’s desktop and the fun we had with Malik’s PC.
Nice and decent guy. I like the way he managed his studies.
A nice, polite and down to earth person.
He was quiet but always true.
Very reserved person, don’t know much about you but you seem to be a very nice and innocent person.
A person who groups knowledge like he was cutting butter with knife. I respect him for that.
A real BIBA person, a cute neighbour.
Nice and polite guy – very honest and sincere.
A very helpful friend.
An excellent neighbour. May God bless you with everything you want in life.
I aspire to be a true professional and the best man in the business … and I am used to getting what I want. So look forward for the man of the next millenium 🙂 Life’s been good to be so far, I hope it will stay that way.
