Some people would say that I define the word tension! 🙂 … yeah I guess I was wound up a little more than what’s healthy most of the time, thanks to the half dozen things I always had up in the air at any given time in GIKI. I guess I got addicted to living that way! I made some good friends here, and of course as most friends are, we stepped on each other’s toes once in a while, you can’t really help that considering all the time we were forced to spend together. But what I’m glad about is that we all walked away on good terms. Life in GIKI was good to me, got more respect than I deserved from most people! 🙂 I liked the concept of having our own private rooms (nothing like locking the door and ignoring the world when you can’t stand it anymore). GIKI gave me the chance to pull off some big ones like the motorway project which provided me with enough mulla to keep my personal expenses going for a coupla years! And who can forget out lil baby .. the net, the source for tonnes of mp3, IRC and NetPOPUP or poor (pharoo?) lil’ insanity, oh and the lovely cafe and mess food! <choke>…
The 8th semester had to be the most happening time of the whole four year affair. Found out that there are more things in life besides computers! 😉 Also got to learn how low some people could get and on the other hand how much some others could care for you. Saying goodbye to the later would probably be biggest regret I have about leaving. GIKI was definitely one wild rollercoaster ride I wouldn’t mind getting on again.

I don’t know if he’d be any different if he was someplace else – but I do know that we would’ve been if he was. Getting a grade or scoring high would never have been a problem if he wasn’t around. If he wasn’t so popular with the girls maybe we would’ve gotten a chance. If he hadn’t been so ‘damn cute’ .. But then if he hadn’t been around who would’ve I made my project groups with .. of course I did most of the work (ooops!). It’s fun hanging out with him, but only when he hasn’t got any ‘tension’ on his mind.

Future? I’m making mine as it comes, and I think it’s not turning out half bad! All you gotta do is think positive and give your dreams an honest effort, the rest just falls into place!
